Interim BI Specialist | 8 to 16 hours per week | Almere region | Minimum 6 month assignment | Hybrid working | Open to English and Dutch speaking candidates!

For a direct end client of Data-First, I am looking for an Interim BI Specialist.

In this role, the primary focus is on delivering direct business value through BI solutions. Over the past period, the client has invested heavily in its backend environment and data model, creating a need for someone who can translate this data into actionable insights, reports, and dashboards for the business.

Your responsibilities will include building and enhancing Power BI reports, developing DAX calculations, performing data modelling activities, and adding relevant metrics to existing data models. The environment is set up with separate development and testing environments, supported by version control through GitHub. Changes are deployed through a structured process from development to testing and ultimately to production.

This role is ideal for an all round BI Specialist with a strong focus on Power BI and the frontend side of BI, combined with knowledge of data modelling, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and preferably experience working with SAP and/or Dynamics as data sources.

Dit ben jij

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a BI Specialist;
  • Hands on experience with Power BI, SQL, DAX, and GitHub;
  • Experience with or affinity for Microsoft Fabric and Python;
  • Experience working with SAP and/or Dynamics as data sources;
  • Excellent command of the English language.

De voorwaarden

The client is looking for a professional who is available for 8 to 16 hours per week. The intention is to gradually increase the number of hours throughout the assignment if this also aligns with the candidate’s availability.

When working two days per week, one day can be worked remotely. Please note that the client’s office is difficult to reach by public transport, so access to a car is highly preferred.
