The company

This international financial technology company is focused on high velocity trading based on Algorithms. No worries, it’s fine if you don’t know anything about finance/trading yet. They’re literally for 50% a technology company. This is not your stereotype financial institution/bank. You won’t see suits or ties here. There’s an international culture with lots of different nationalities!

Every year the company donates all profits from one day, to good charity like, schools in Afrika or the Ocean Clean up project. All employees can do 1-2 days per year charity during working hours and If you refer another employee you can give 2.500 euro to a charity you like.

The job

You will get a lot of responsibilities in an informal company, work with big data sets and have international impact with your work. You will work with financial and trading data. You will support traders with data insights and make ad hoc reports.

The role is not purely focused on data analytics/science, you will also do profit/loss calculations which is basically a data puzzle to get the right numbers. You will also think about automating processes and spar with stakeholders. Another part of the job is doing research when the data is incorrect and solving the problem.

It’s a challenging job where you can learn and grow a lot.

In the first year you will follow a lot of trainings to know more about what the company does, their strategies and of course to improve your data skills! Improving and developing yourself is a must!

Requirements

Musts: Strong Excel skills and SQL OR Qlik experience

Python would be a plus!
